Muppit authentication terms of service

Last updated: May 15, 2026

By creating an account or signing in via auth.muppit.au, you agree to the following terms.

Description of service

Muppit provides a shared authentication service for its applications. The service is operated by the developer on self-hosted infrastructure using Zitadel, an open-source identity provider. The authentication service enables sign-in across all Muppit applications with a single account.

Account creation

You can create an account in two ways:

  • Google sign-in: Use your existing Google account. Zitadel receives your name and email address from Google. See the privacy policy for details.
  • Email and password: Create a Zitadel-local account directly using your email address and a password you choose.

One account works across all Muppit applications.

Age requirements

Some Muppit applications, such as Blaster, are designed for children. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising account creation for minors. Google's own age policies apply when using Google sign-in.

User responsibilities

When using the authentication service, you agree to:

  • Keep your sign-in credentials secure
  • Not share your account with others
  • Not attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Not abuse, disrupt, or interfere with the authentication service
  • Not use automated tools to create accounts or submit requests
  • Provide accurate information when creating an account

Per-application terms

Individual Muppit applications may have additional terms governing their specific functionality and data handling. By using an application, you agree to both these authentication terms and any application-specific terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE AUTHENTICATION SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. The developer does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of, or inability to use, the authentication service
  • Unauthorised access to your account
  • Outages or interruptions to the service, including third-party authentication provider outages (e.g. Google)
  • Loss of data resulting from service interruption or account deletion

Termination

  • By you: You can request account deletion at any time by contacting support@muppit.au.
  • By the developer: The developer may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, violation of these terms, or any reason at the developer's discretion.

Account termination may result in loss of access to all Muppit applications and associated data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the authentication service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
