Muppitify Coaching Platform terms of service

Please read these terms of service ("Terms") carefully before purchasing or using the Muppitify Coaching Platform ("the Platform").

Acceptance of terms​

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

Description of service​

The Muppitify Coaching Platform is a commercial coaching management application that:

  • Tracks coaching, mentoring, training, and meeting sessions
  • Monitors ICF certification progress toward ACC, PCC, and MCC credentials
  • Manages session recordings, transcripts, and playback
  • Provides optional AI competency analysis using your own AI provider
  • Supports optional Zoom and Google Calendar integrations

The Platform is available in four editions:

Licence terms​

One-time purchase​

The Platform is sold as a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, no recurring fees, and no in-app purchases.

Device limit​

Each licence permits installation on up to two devices, in any combination of Desktop, Server, and Vault editions. The K8s Edition is separately licensed.

Licence activation​

Desktop and Vault editions require activation with a licence key provided after purchase. The licence key is validated against the developer's licensing server. Server Edition uses the same licence key entered during Docker container setup.

Mac App Store purchases (when available) use Apple's receipt validation instead of the developer's licensing server.

Early adopter status​

Licences purchased during the early adopter window carry permanent early adopter status. Early adopter benefits (roadmap access and feature voting) are locked into the licence and never expire, regardless of when the benefits are used.

Licence transfer​

Licences are non-transferable. You may deactivate a device from within the Platform to free a device slot for use on a different machine.

Pricing and refunds​

No refunds​

The Platform is a digital product. No refunds are provided once a licence key has been delivered. Your licence key is sent by email within minutes of purchase. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Pricing​

Early adopter pricing is $99 AUD. This price is available while the platform is sold directly through this site. When the platform becomes available on the Mac App Store, the price will increase. Pricing is subject to change for future purchases; existing licences are not affected.

User responsibilities​

You are responsible for​

  1. Your coaching data: All client information, session records, recordings, and transcripts stored in the Platform
  2. Data compliance: Ensuring your handling of client coaching data complies with applicable data protection laws and your professional obligations
  3. Server security (Server and K8s editions): Securing your Docker host, Kubernetes cluster, and network access
  4. AI provider credentials: Managing your own AI API keys and reviewing your AI provider's data handling policies
  5. Data backup: Maintaining backups of your coaching data using the Platform's export feature or your own backup strategy
  6. Zoom and Google credentials: Managing OAuth connections and reviewing third-party data handling policies

You agree not to​

  1. Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  2. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform
  3. Redistribute, sublicense, or share your licence key with others
  4. Circumvent the device activation limit or licensing mechanism
  5. Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices

Data and privacy​

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how data is stored locally and what is transmitted during licence activation.

Key points:

  • All coaching data stays on your device or server
  • The developer does not receive or store your coaching data
  • Licence activation transmits only your licence key, device fingerprint, and app version
  • No telemetry, analytics, or crash reports are collected

Intellectual property​

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The Platform is proprietary software. You may not:

  • Copy or distribute the Platform beyond your licensed devices
  • Create derivative works based on the Platform
  • Use the Platform's code, design, or assets in other products

AI analysis disclaimer​

AI-generated assessments are not a substitute for professional coaching supervision or ICF credentialing decisions. AI analysis results:

  • Depend on the accuracy and capabilities of your chosen AI provider and model
  • May not accurately reflect ICF competency standards
  • Should be used as a development aid, not as a definitive assessment
  • Are generated by third-party AI services, not by the Platform developer

You are solely responsible for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.

Coaching disclaimer​

The Platform is a tracking and management tool. It does not provide coaching advice, professional supervision, or ICF accreditation. The Platform helps you organise and monitor your coaching practice, but professional judgement about coaching quality, client outcomes, and certification readiness remains your responsibility.

Disclaimer of warranties​

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ICF HOUR CALCULATIONS
  • ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED ANALYSIS
  • UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION

The developer does not warrant that:

  • The Platform will meet your specific requirements
  • The Platform will be available at all times
  • ICF hour tracking will be error-free
  • AI analysis will be accurate or complete
  • Any defects will be corrected

Limitation of liability​

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Coaching decisions made based on data or analysis from the Platform
  • ICF certification outcomes based on the Platform's hour tracking
  • Unauthorised access to your device, server, or data
  • Third-party AI provider errors, outages, or data handling
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Platform

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Platform is to stop using it, deactivate your devices, and delete it.

Indemnification​

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your handling of client coaching data
  • Your use of third-party AI providers, Zoom, or Google Calendar through the Platform

Mac App Store​

When the Desktop Edition becomes available on the Mac App Store, purchases made through the Mac App Store are subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In the event of a conflict between Apple's EULA and these Terms, Apple's EULA takes precedence for Mac App Store purchases. Direct distribution purchases continue to be governed by these Terms.

Changes to terms​

The developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination​

You may stop using the Platform at any time by deactivating your devices and deleting it. The developer may suspend or revoke a licence for violation of these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Platform ceases immediately
  • Coaching data on your device or server remains under your control
  • Local settings and licence data are deleted when you remove the Platform

Governing law​

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability​

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
